The container project to ship thousands of pounds of supplies to Africa, is up and running.
We gave early notice of this project in our September 2007 newsletter -- complete with a list of supplies we are hoping will be donated.
We are now receiving donations at four drop-off locations in the USA. They are located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Illinois.
The deadline for receiving goods is May 31, 2008 at the drop-off points. This will enable us to have time to get the stuff shipped from the drop-off points to the main loading center in Lynwood, Illinois.
We want to thank everyone who is helping with this project. The supplies in this container will enable Joy in the Harvest to operate in Tanzania for the next four years and will help thousands of Africans in great need.
