- For a very good Nissan Titan pickup truck and 24 foot Sunline Travel trailer to do our furlough travels. Having to pull the trailer out of snow banks and on icy roads, it is really wonderful to have a good, safe truck.
- For some time with our families. Our mothers are both 80 plus years old and the time we share with our children and other family members is very precious to us.
- For our supporting churches and a calendar that is well organized enabling us to visit the maximum possible number of supporters. We so appreciate the great spirit of cooperation with numerous mission chairpersons and pastors that is enabling us to make the most of our time in the USA. Organizing our calendar is a nearly impossible job, and I am thankful to all who demonstrated understanding and showed kindness to Claudia as she tried to organize our furlough year.
Our Prayer Requests:
- For our African staff who are carrying the full weight of the work in Tanzania in our absence. From all indications, they are doing an excellent job. Please remember them as it is not easy work.
- For God to raise us more missionaries, both short term and career missionaries, to come work with Joy in the Harvest in Africa. The opportunities have never been greater than they are today. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send more workers into the field!
- That God will provide funds (US $80,000.) for us to construct a ministry center building in Kigoma, Tanzania. It will be a wonderful tool to get more of His work done.
